Job Description

Key Responsibilities of Mechanical Design engineers:

Design mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping, machinery, or equipment using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.). Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, assembly layouts, fabrication drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials). Conduct engineering calculations for load, stress, fluid flow, thermal performance, etc., to ensure design feasibility. Select appropriate materials and components based on performance, cost, and safety requirements. Collaborate with electrical, civil, and manufacturing teams to ensure integrated and functional designs. Support the development of product specifications, technical documentation, and user manuals. Assist in prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical designs. Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, ASME, ISO, etc.). Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and product improvement initiatives. Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
