Job Responsibilities:

Create precise

2D and 3D models

using

Solid Edge

software. Perform

part modeling

,

assembly modeling

, and

detailed drafting

based on engineering specifications. Prepare and manage

Bill of Materials (BOM)

and

design checklists

. Collaborate with

cross-functional teams

including production, quality, and procurement to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Apply

GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

in design documentation. Ensure design outputs meet dimensional, functional, and manufacturing requirements. Support product development, design reviews, and design change management. Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

2 to 3 years of experience in

mechanical design

or related engineering roles. Strong proficiency in

Solid Edge

for modeling, drafting, and assembly design. Good understanding of

engineering drawing standards

, GD&T, and BOM management. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word). Good verbal and written communication skills in Tamil and English.
