Job Description

Collect, document, and record information affecting the scope of work and keep it organized in the job file.

Design individual connections and welds per requirements of the latest CISC or AISC (ASD or LRFD) specifications. Design connections through the use of internal/external spreadsheets. Design connections for greater economy. Incorporate and compile any possible adjustments or changes made necessary by revised documents. Review and depict special loading conditions for connections design. Draw clear connections sketches. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers and supervisors. Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech (Civil) with related experience and training. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, governmental regulations, drawings and job specifications. Ability to communicate effectively with engineering office in English. Good attitude and always willing to improve and take more responsibilities. Ability to prioritize his own work.
