About the Role

We are looking for a talented and creative

Outdoor Furniture Designer

with strong expertise in

SketchUp

to design innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing outdoor furniture and landscape products. The ideal candidate should understand materials, ergonomics, and outdoor design trends.

Key Responsibilities

Create

3D models, renders, and technical drawings

of outdoor furniture using

SketchUp

. Develop design concepts for benches, pergolas, planters, play equipment, outdoor fitness structures, and other outdoor products. Work closely with the production, engineering, and sales teams to refine and finalize designs. Prepare

detailed manufacturing drawings

including dimensions, materials, joinery details, and assembly instructions. Ensure designs are feasible for fabrication using metal, wood, HDPE, WPC, FRP, and other materials. Follow brand design guidelines and maintain consistency across all product lines. Modify and update designs based on client feedback and project requirements. Conduct material research and explore new design trends in the outdoor furniture industry. Support the team with project presentations and design documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Architecture, or related field. Strong proficiency in

SketchUp

(mandatory). Knowledge of additional tools like V-Ray, AutoCAD, Photoshop, or 3ds Max is an advantage. Understanding of outdoor furniture design, ergonomics, and structural principles. Good sense of aesthetics, color combinations, and design detailing. Ability to translate concepts into practical and manufacturable designs. Strong visualization, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience

Experience in

outdoor furniture / landscape furniture / playground equipment / outdoor fitness equipment

design. Knowledge of fabrication processes such as metal welding, carpentry, FRP molding, CNC cutting, powder coating, etc. Familiarity with industry materials (MS, SS, wood, WPC, HDPE, FRP, aluminum, rubber, etc.).
