Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Designer Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Intriants Services. As a Designer Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting quantity surveys, providing cost estimates, and working closely with our design team to ensure project success. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The role is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or interior design industry.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, methods, and software.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and other quantity surveying tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of construction materials, costs, and industry standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Conducting quantity surveys and preparing cost estimates for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Analyzing project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine quantities and costs.
• Collaborating with architects, designers, and other team members to develop accurate cost estimates and ensure design feasibility.
• Preparing and maintaining bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and other documentation related to quantity surveying.
• Monitoring and tracking project costs, including material and labor expenses, and preparing reports for management.
• Assisting in the procurement process by evaluating vendor quotes, negotiating prices, and selecting suppliers.
• Reviewing and analyzing design changes and variations to ensure their impact on costs is accurately accounted for.
• Participating in project meetings, providing inputs on cost control, and offering recommendations for cost-saving measures.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, new construction materials, and innovative quantity surveying techniques.
