We are looking for a talented and innovative Designer from NIFT to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will bring fresh perspectives, strong design sensibility, and a deep understanding of fashion/textile/lifestyle trends. You will be responsible for concept development, product design, and driving creative excellence across collections or design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and develop original designs for apparel, textiles, fashion accessories, or lifestyle products (as per domain). Conduct trend research, material exploration, and mood board development. Create detailed technical drawings/specifications using tools like CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, etc. Collaborate with sampling, production, and merchandising teams to ensure design execution aligns with vision. Work on color palettes, surface ornamentation, fabric swatches, and trims selection. Stay updated on national and international fashion trends and consumer behavior. Present design collections to internal teams or clients with clear rationale and storytelling.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or higher from NIFT in Fashion Design / Textile Design / Accessory Design / Knitwear / Lifestyle Product Design or relevant specialization. Proficiency in design software like CorelDRAW, Illustrator, and MS Office. Strong design portfolio showcasing creative thinking and technical skills. Understanding of materials, garment construction, printing/embroidery techniques, and production processes. Excellent communication, time-management, and collaboration skills. High attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
