: Designer (AutoCAD & SolidWorks)Position Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled

Designer

with expertise in

AutoCAD

and

SolidWorks

. The ideal candidate should not only be proficient in 2D/3D design and drafting but also possess

exceptional imagination

to conceptualize innovative solutions, transform abstract ideas into tangible designs, and contribute to product development with originality and precision.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed

2D drawings and 3D models

using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Create discussion level

designs by hand on paper.

Develop and refine

product designs, assemblies, and components

based on project requirements. Work closely with the

engineering, R&D, and production teams

to ensure designs are functional, feasible, and cost-effective. Translate

concepts, sketches, and client requirements

into high-quality technical drawings and models. Apply

creative problem-solving

to design challenges and suggest imaginative alternatives. Conduct

design reviews, simulations, and feasibility checks

to validate concepts. Maintain and update a

design library

and ensure proper documentation of all design files. Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in design and engineering software.

Requirements

Proficiency in

AutoCAD

and

SolidWorks

(mandatory). Bachelor's/Diploma in

Mechanical/Industrial/Product Design

or related field. Strong

visualization skills

with the ability to convert abstract ideas into practical designs. Exceptional

imagination and creativity

combined with sound engineering judgment. Knowledge of

materials, manufacturing processes, and design standards

. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in

product design, prototyping, or industrial design

. Familiarity with

GD&T, FEA, or simulation tools

in SolidWorks. A portfolio demonstrating

innovative and imaginative designs

.
