arth Universal School, a leading IB school in Surat, is looking for a passionate and skilled

Design & Technology Teacher

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hands-on design thinking, innovation, and technology integration.

We are looking for someone who can help students design, build, and think creatively -- using tools, materials, and digital platforms to turn ideas into real-world solutions.

Responsibilities:

Teach Design & Technology to middle and senior school students. Guide students in using design processes -- from research and sketching to prototyping. Integrate tools like CAD, 3D modeling, and digital fabrication where possible. Promote safety, problem-solving, and creativity in the design lab. Support students during exhibitions, design fairs, and IB assessments. Collaborate with other teachers to connect design learning across subjects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's in Design / Engineering / Architecture / Fine Arts / Technology or equivalent. B.Ed. preferred. Strong command of English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Experience in hands-on teaching or STEM / Maker Lab / Robotics will be an advantage. Comfortable using modern tools, materials, and educational technology.

Skills Required:
