Through your thorough understanding of mechanical design principles, you will analyze and optimize component designs, validate concepts, and ensure that compliance with international standards is maintained. Key Qualifications and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering, with a professional experience spanning 3 to 7 years in related fields.
Strong expertise in reciprocating compressors and familiarity with international standards including ASME, CE, and API.
Hands-on experience with the design of skid packages for compressors is a valuable addition.
Familiarity with project management principles enhances your candidacy.
Technical prowess in sheet metal design, piping, flange selection, and heavy fabrication processes.
Fluency in product development processes from concept to commercialization, including the use of APQP, DFMEA, and design review methodologies.
Competence in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and designing for serviceability are essential.
Proficiency with CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems like Enovia.
Experience generating BOMs and working with ERP systems such as BPCS.
Demonstrated ability in performing component-level design calculations.
