Production and Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the engineering team to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints. Create and modify detailed mechanical designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software. Develop 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and drawings, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines. Conduct feasibility studies and design simulations to evaluate design concepts and identify potential improvements. Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and documentation for production purposes. Participate in design reviews, providing insights, feedback, and recommendations for design enhancements. Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to production. Oversee the implementation of designs on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards. Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases of projects. Perform site inspections and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the implementation phase. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to mechanical design.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design projects. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively. Willingness to work on-site, including travel to project locations as needed. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
