Position: Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing design drawings for hydraulic systems and components. This role requires strong technical skills, effective time management, and the ability to handle multiple design projects within strict deadlines.

Educational Qualification

ITI / Diploma / BE (Mechanical or relevant discipline)

Experience

2-3 years of experience in a relevant design engineering role

Fresh or newly trained candidates with strong design fundamentals may also be considered

Design Software Skills (Mandatory)

AutoCAD - Compulsory

SolidWorks and/or Creo Parametric (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate 2D and 3D design drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks/Creo

Develop new designs and modify existing designs as per project requirements

Create detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and bill of materials (BOM)

Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure design feasibility

Handle multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines

Ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and safety norms

Maintain proper documentation and revision control of design files

Support troubleshooting and design improvements during manufacturing stages
