Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Design Manager

with strong technical expertise in both

2D and 3D design

for piping systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in

SolidWorks and AutoCAD

, possess in-depth knowledge of international design standards including

ASME, ASTM, DIN, JIS, and EN

, and have proven experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the development of

2D and 3D technical drawings

for piping systems using

SolidWorks and AutoCAD

.

Perform thorough reviews of design drawings to ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards such as

ASME, ASTM, DIN, JIS, and EN

.

Validate and approve all piping system drawings, including

piping layouts, components, and ferrule fittings

.

Ensure all design outputs are technically accurate, consistent with project specifications, and meet quality standards.

Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentoring to the design team.

Coordinate with engineering, project management, and quality assurance teams to resolve design issues and implement improvements.

Maintain organized documentation of design reviews, approvals, revisions, and standards compliance.

Continuously monitor and implement the best practices and updates to design standards within the team.

Qualifications

Experience:

2 - 5 years in piping design, drafting, and design review.

Software Skills:

Advanced proficiency in

SolidWorks and AutoCAD

for creating and modifying 2D and 3D drawings.

Standards Knowledge:

Strong understanding and application of

ASME, ASTM, DIN, JIS, and EN standards

within piping design.

Proven experience in

reviewing and approving piping and ferrule fitting drawings

.

Excellent technical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to enforce quality standards.

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Experience in leading design teams and managing complex engineering deliverables.
