This position will work directly with the Design Manager for designing and engineering new
products (machinery - systems) related to the pharmaceutical industry
Create detailed 3D models of pharmaceutical machines (e.g., softgel encapsulation machines, dryers, tumblers).
Use CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, to develop parts, assemblies, and complete machine systems.
Ensure that designs are optimized for manufacturing processes like CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
Consider material selection, tolerances, and ease of assembly.
Work closely with mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and fabrication teams to integrate mechanical systems with automation and controls.
Coordinate with quality assurance and regulatory teams to ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance.
Generating 2D/3D fabrication drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and assembly instructions.
Modify standard designs to meet customer-specific requirements such as size, output rate, material type, and space constraints.
Participate in the prototyping phase, support the assembly team during initial builds,
and suggest design improvements.
Update 3D models and documentation as part of product lifecycle management (PLM).
Ensure machine design follows GMP regulations for pharmaceutical equipment.
Experience
? 0-4+ years of experience in Equipment and machinery manufacturing
? 0-4+ years of experience in CAD Design - 2D & 3D in Autodesk Inventor
? Candidate with background in relevant Industrial/production/ manufacturing experience will be given preference.

? Understand equipment manufacturing and engineering design
? Familiar with bearing, gears, fasteners, fits and tolerances etc
? Additional courses in product design / Design Engineering
