We are looking for a Design & Development Manager to lead our Sheet Metal Design team at a leading automobile manufacturing company. In this role, you will oversee the full design lifecycle--from feasibility analysis to final design approvals--delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations and meet production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Feasibility

Evaluate the feasibility of sheet metal part designs against technical and manufacturing standards Ensure all designs align with customer expectations and are viable for production

Quotation & Project Planning

Create accurate quotations based on technical specs and materials Schedule and manage design activities across all stages from concept to approval

Design Approval Process (DAP)

Lead internal and external design approval processes to meet stakeholder and compliance standards

BOM & Development Coordination

Develop and share accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure timely, high-quality development

Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with Management, NPD, Purchase, and Customers Ensure seamless design updates, feedback integration, and milestone approvals
Key Skills Required:

Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) Excellent multitasking and project planning capabilities Strong communication and team coordination Analytical thinking and solution-oriented approach Customer-focused with commitment to quality
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹601,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
