Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and manage the design development process from concept to execution for construction/real estate projects. Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure design intent is achieved. Review, evaluate, and approve design drawings, BOQs, and specifications. Collaborate with the project management team to align design deliverables with project schedules and budgets. Conduct design feasibility studies, site evaluations, and value engineering exercises. Manage multiple design consultants (structural, MEP, landscape, interiors, facade, etc.) and resolve conflicts or design discrepancies. Ensure quality standards and aesthetic consistency are maintained across all projects. Facilitate approvals from statutory bodies and coordinate with local authorities for design-related clearances. Keep abreast of new materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices for implementation in projects.

Key Skills & Competencies:



Strong knowledge of architecture, planning, construction methods, and building codes. Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SketchUp, and other design/drafting tools. Experience in coordination of multidisciplinary teams (Structural, MEP, Interiors, Landscape). Strong project management and leadership abilities. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Effective stakeholder management and communication skills. Awareness of green building practices, LEED/GRIHA certifications (preferred).

Qualification & Experience:



B.Arch in Architecture (mandatory). Master's degree in Urban Design/Planning/Design Management (preferred). 7-10 years of experience in design coordination and management within real estate or construction. Proven track record of handling mid to large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
