Role Overview
We are seeking a Design Lead to head the Creative Design Department of our Digital Marketing Agency. This is a non-client-facing leadership role, focused on team training, internal quality control, performance monitoring, and creative process excellence.
The Design Lead will be responsible for ensuring high-performing creative outputs across digital marketing deliverables such as social media creatives, ad designs, branding assets, landing pages, and marketing collateral, while building a disciplined, skilled, and scalable design team.
Key Responsibilities
Take complete ownership of the Design Department's output, performance, and discipline
Ensure industry-leading quality standards for all digital marketing creatives
Train designers on digital marketing-specific design principles (branding, ads, social creatives, conversion-focused layouts, etc.)
Build and maintain structured training modules, skill tests, and evaluation systems
Conduct regular one-on-one reviews to upskill designers and improve performance
Review, approve, and optimize creative assets before final delivery
Maintain design consistency across platforms (Meta, Google Ads, websites, email creatives, etc.)
Create and manage departmental performance reports, productivity tracking, and quality metrics
Identify skill gaps related to digital marketing trends, tools, and formats and close them proactively
Enforce process discipline, accountability, timelines, and creative SOPs
Required Skills & Qualifications
3.5-4 years of professional experience in design within a digital marketing or creative agency
Strong command over tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva (agency usage)
Deep understanding of marketing-focused design (ads, CTR-driven creatives, brand visuals)
Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor creative teams
Strong eye for detail, quality, and brand consistency
Analytical mindset for performance tracking and reporting
Process-driven, confident leader with authority and ownership mindset

Pay: ₹540,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
