Position: Design Lead

Qualification: B.E. / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 7 years in sheet metal fabrication (preferably enclosures/control panels)

Age: Below 40 years'

Salary: No bar for the right candidate

Must-Have Skills:

? Expert in SolidWorks & AutoCAD

? In-depth knowledge of sheet metal fabrication

? Experience in enclosure/control panel design

? SolidWorks certification (CSWP) or equivalent preferred

Key Responsibilities:

?? Leadership & Team Management

? Lead the design team with a clear vision and accountability

? Set and monitor departmental KPIs

? Mentor, train, and upskill team members regularly

Customer Coordination & Communication

? Act as the single point of contact for customer design queries and Engineering Change

Requests (ECRs)

? Understand client requirements and ensure precise design delivery

? Attend meetings and address all MoMs with follow-through

?? Design Excellence & Execution

? Review, approve, and release designs aligned with customer specifications

? Personally handle critical design projects using SolidWorks & AutoCAD

? Ensure all ECRs and revision updates are accurately implemented

New Product Development (NPD)

? Drive the design process for new product development from concept to release

? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support innovation and cost-effective

solutions

? Provide accurate inputs for material, hardware, and manufacturing feasibility

?? Timely & Quality Delivery

? Ensure all design outputs are on-time and meet quality standards

? Coordinate effectively to meet tight project deadlines
