Profile Summary

A seasoned design management professional with deep expertise in master planning, architectural design, and technical execution for large-scale infrastructure, industrial, and warehousing projects. Adept at leading multidisciplinary design teams, coordinating with consultants, and aligning design solutions with business and operational objectives. Proven ability to translate client requirements and regulatory norms into functional, cost-effective, and sustainable designs while maintaining highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Core Responsibilities

Lead and oversee end-to-end design development for industrial parks, logistics hubs, warehouses, and related infrastructure.

Collaborate with business, project management, and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and constructability.

Review and approve architectural, structural, MEP, and allied drawings to ensure alignment with project scope and statutory requirements.

Manage relationships with external consultants, architects, and contractors to deliver timely and cost-efficient design solutions.

Ensure compliance with building codes, fire & safety regulations, environmental standards, and zoning laws.

Drive adoption of sustainable design practices and modern technologies (BIM, green building standards, automation-ready layouts).

Prepare design briefs, RFPs, and technical evaluations for consultants and vendors.

Provide technical guidance during project execution, resolving design/site-related issues.

Continuously monitor industry trends to bring in innovative, scalable, and efficient design practices.

Key Skills & Competencies

Expertise in master planning, industrial design, and warehousing layouts.

Strong knowledge of codes, approvals, and regulatory processes in infrastructure/industrial projects.

Proficiency in design management tools and software (AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, MS Project).

Leadership in managing cross-functional design & engineering teams.

Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.

Strong commercial acumen with focus on cost, time, and quality.

Ability to align design with business strategy and client requirements.

Ideal Background

Bachelors in Architecture/Civil Engineering; Masters in Planning/Project Management preferred.

1220 years of experience in design management, preferably in industrial parks, warehousing, logistics, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Exposure to both greenfield and brownfield developments.

Track record of delivering design solutions for high-value, large-scale developments.
