We are now inviting experienced design instructors and trainers to join our team at our in-person learning centers. Candidates who have a passion for design and education and can create engaging learning experiences for our students, are invited to submit their applications for the design learning programs scheduled for academic year 2024-25. ONLY APPLICANTS RESIDING IN DELHI-NCR WILL BE CONSIDERED. Design Areas: 3d Animation - Blender, Maya & more Visual Design - Digital Illustrations Communication Design Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver design courses for students in various design disciplines, including visual design, design identity and culture, fashion design, architecture design and design portfolios
• Facilitate learning and discussions through a combination of in-person and remote teaching methods
• Provide guidance and feedback to students on their design projects and portfolios
• Collaborate with the Artshala team to create and improve curriculum and teaching materials
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
• As an instructor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering remote and hybrid courses in an engaging and effective manner.
• These responsibilities may include but are not limited to developing course outlines, creating multimedia content, leading online discussions and activities, mentoring and training students, providing feedback on student work, maintaining student progress reports and participating in program and departmental meetings.
• You will also be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the course are delivered in a timely and professional manner, including online safety guidelines and academic requirements.
• You will also be responsible for mentoring students to encourage them to think outside the box in their design practice.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAS

• The ideal candidate must possess a terminal degree in art, design, or a relevant discipline, and have equivalent practical experience in their chosen field of design practice.
• Experience with the development of design projects from concept to final pieces, using industry relevant softwares and tools.
• Proficiency in both traditional and digital extensions of their chosen field of design practice
• Knowledge of leading design industry softwares such as but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch
• Minimum design experience required for consideration is 03 years
• Recent design graduates with minimal industry experience are allowed to apply as \xe2\x80\x9cStudent Assistants\xe2\x80\x9d
• Proven display of design proficiency and innovation through commercial practice / individual projects / softwares / design tools
• Ability to understand and empathise with student\xe2\x80\x99s needs and be willing to provide solutions to their learning challenges
• Must be an Indian citizen aged 18 years or older with relevant and verified government identification documents
• MUST BE RESIDING IN DELHI-NCR REGION
• Must be willing to comply with our background verification procedures
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Multi disciplinary skilled candidates will be considered as an advantage
• Equal efficiency in conducting training in a personal and/or focused cohort framework
• Ability to create hands-on learning activities and tasks for students for optimal skill development
• Updated skill sets including the most current industry softwares, tools and practices being used in the design industry
• Training experience at the secondary & post secondary level is considered an asset, equivalent relevant experience will be considered
• A clear understanding of learning requirements under the IGCSE, ICSE as well as CBSE framework will be an added advantage
• The position of design trainer is subject to contractual agreements, and remuneration will be determined based on a pay scale that is subject to review and approval by the management.
• The compensation for the position is commensurate with the level of design proficiency, ability to effectively train students and the market standards for similar roles.
• The initial engagement will be subject to a probationary period of three months, and the continuation of the engagement is contingent on the satisfactory performance of the candidate as determined by the management.
