Job Summary

We are looking for a visionary and creative Design Head to lead our interior design team. The ideal candidate will oversee design concepts, ensure alignment with client requirements, and drive innovative solutions that reflect quality, functionality, and aesthetics. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and design expertise to deliver exceptional interior spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the design team to deliver innovative and client-focused interior design solutions. Oversee end-to-end design processes -- from concept development to final execution. Collaborate with clients, business development, and project teams to understand requirements and provide creative solutions. Ensure designs meet client expectations, project budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Guide material selection, color schemes, space planning, and furniture layouts. Stay updated with latest design trends, materials, and technology in the interior design industry. Review and approve design drawings, 3D visuals, and presentations before client submissions. Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants for seamless execution of projects. Maintain design standards, ensuring brand identity and quality consistency across projects.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in interior design concepts, space planning, and detailing. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong client-facing and presentation abilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, and MS Office. Ability to balance creativity with functionality and budget considerations. Knowledge of sustainable and modern design practices is a plus. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design / Architecture. 8-12 years of experience in interior design, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership position. Proven portfolio showcasing high-end residential, commercial, or corporate design projects.
