Job Summary

KGMI is looking for an experienced

Estimation Engineer / Costing Executive

to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for modular furniture and interior projects. The role involves analyzing client requirements, studying design drawings, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM), and ensuring overall project cost efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update

cost sheets, quotation records

, and

project-wise costing history

. Support management in

budget preparation

and

profitability analysis

. Coordinate with

design and purchase teams

for updated specifications and material rates. Prepare

accurate quotations

with detailed cost breakups for furniture and interior projects. Suggest

cost optimization

ideas through alternative materials or finishes. Develop

Bills of Materials (BOM)

for plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers, paints, and hardware fittings. Study

architectural drawings and modular layouts

to prepare detailed BOQ. Collaborate with

production and installation teams

to estimate fabrication and logistics costs. Maintain a comprehensive

database of material costs, quotations, and project profitability

. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and clarity on specifications.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum

1 year of experience

in estimation or costing for modular furniture/interior projects. Strong knowledge of

furniture raw materials, fittings, and finishes

. Familiar with

CNC, edge banding, post-forming, hot/cold press

, and related manufacturing processes. Proficient in

MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic)

, and

ERP/Costing software

. Excellent

analytical, numerical accuracy

, and

attention to detail

. Understanding of

design principles, construction techniques

, and

material properties

. Good

communication and coordination

skills with cross-functional teams.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
