Estimation side
Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs
Analyze drawings and specs to calculate quantities
Compare vendor quotations and supplier prices
Support tendering, bidding, and budgeting
Identify cost risks and value-engineering options
Skills required
Strong engineering fundamentals (civil / mechanical / electrical, depending on industry)
Cost estimation & quantity surveying knowledge
Proficiency in tools like
AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Excel, Primavera, or CostX
Understanding of
codes, standards, and contracts
Analytical thinking + attention to detail
