Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

Prepare GA drawings, SLDs, and wiring diagrams for LT panels, MCCs, PCCs, APFC panels, and control panels using AutoCAD.

Design panel layouts, busbar sizing, and component selection based on load calculations and system requirements.

Analyse tender documents, BOQs, and technical specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations for switchgear components, cables, and accessories.

Prepare technical and commercial offers for tenders and customer inquiries.

Support the sales team during technical discussions and design clarifications.

Ensure that all designs comply with IEC/IS standards and customer specifications.

Participate in design reviews and implement value engineering to optimize cost and performance.

Maintain a database of material costs, vendor lists, and past project estimates for reference.

Candidate Skill Set

Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and MS Excel; familiarity with E-plan or similar tools is an advantage.

Strong understanding of switchgear components (MCB, MCCB, ACB, contactors, relays, etc.).

Good knowledge of electrical drawings, protection schemes, and cable sizing.

Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Ability to work on multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

A quick learner with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

A collaborative team player who thrives in a startup environment.

Passion for building high-impact, scalable embedded products using the latest technologies.
