Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Design Engineer

with hands-on experience in

Sheet Metal Design

and

Conveyor Line systems

. The ideal candidate must have solid working knowledge of

Siemens NX (Unigraphics)

and a proven ability to create manufacturing-ready 3D models and 2D drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop

conveyor systems

, sheet metal components, enclosures, and structures. Create

3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings

using NX (Unigraphics). Apply

GD&T, DFM/DFA

principles to optimize designs for manufacturing and assembly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and project engineering. Prepare

BOMs (Bill of Materials)

, technical documentation, and ensure design accuracy. Work on

design modifications

based on customer feedback and site requirements. Ensure

compliance with industry standards

and company specifications. Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and process improvements.

Key Skills Required:

Strong proficiency in

NX

Sound knowledge of

sheet metal design

, weldments, and fabrication Experience in

material handling systems / conveyor line design

Knowledge of

mechanical standards, GD&T, tolerancing

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously Good communication and team collaboration skills
