Design Engg - Electrical Wiring Harness Engineer

Experience:

3 to 5 Years

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test

electrical wiring harnesses

, systems, and high-voltage (HV) components. Work with HV components like

battery packs, motors, controllers, DC-DC converters/inverters

. Hands-on experience with

HV and LV wiring

, including

CAN communication (physical layer and networking)

. Prepare

integration test setups

, including

test benches

for component validation. Select appropriate

fuses, relays, and wire cross-sectional areas (CSA)

for various applications. Interpret and create

technical drawings

,

schematics

, and

P&ID diagrams

. Troubleshoot and resolve wiring and component-level technical issues. Use

CAD software like Creo

and

wiring harness tools such as Vesys or Capital

for design and documentation. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, testing, and validation. Ensure quality standards and compliance in electrical systems development.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field. Strong practical understanding of automotive or industrial electrical systems. Immediate joiners or short notice preferred.
