Job Title: Design Engineer - Fire Detection & Alarm Systems
Location: Kolkata

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Design Engineer with a background in Civil Engineering/ Relevant certification and hands-on experience in AutoCAD. The candidate will support the design and engineering team in preparing detailed layouts, drawings, and technical documentation for Fire Detection & Alarm Systems. Experience or knowledge in CCTV, FDA system design will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing detailed

AutoCAD drawings

, layouts, schematics, and BOQs for Fire Detection & Fire Alarm systems, CCTV, EPBAX System Support in

system design

, including device placement, wiring diagrams, and system configuration as per national/international standards (NBC / NFPA preferred). Work closely with project managers and senior design engineers for design revisions and technical coordination. Prepare

technical documentation

, material lists, and project submission files. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for smooth design execution. Assist in reviewing site requirements and developing design solutions. Maintain version control of design drawings and documentation.
Required Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Civil

/ECE/EE (mandatory)

3 years of relevant experience

in engineering/design

Proficiency in AutoCAD

drafting and preparation of project layouts.

Knowledge of Fire Detection & Alarm system, CCTV design

is required. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good communication and teamwork skills.
Added Advantage

Knowledge or experience in

CCTV System design, FDA system

Salary: 23K to 30K CTC / Month
