Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with expertise in

UG NX

to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models and detailed drawings, supporting product development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using

Siemens UG NX (Unigraphics)

. Create detailed component and assembly designs, ensuring alignment with design intent and manufacturability. Modify existing designs and support design changes and updates as required. Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance. Perform tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T application, and engineering documentation. Participate in design reviews and provide technical input throughout the development cycle. Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and internal specifications. Maintain version control and proper documentation using PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience with

UG NX

(preferably NX 10 or later) in a design engineering role. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and drafting standards. Hands-on experience with product lifecycle management tools (e.g.,

Teamcenter

, Windchill). Good understanding of manufacturing processes like machining, casting, injection molding, etc. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial equipment design. Familiarity with FEA tools and design validation processes. Certification or advanced training in UG NX or CAD software.
