Study of Product requirement specification and interpret the component requirement.

Perform initial design concepts and packaging study by thoroughly understanding intended component functions and considering cross-functional system requirements

Function and requirement analyzes

Perform detail design considering manufacturability and prepare Manufacturing drawings based on standards and guidelines

Main contact person for design topics internally/external for the respective component/assembly

Participation on commissioning of sample-buildups and special components

Keeping the milestones of the scheduled project time plan

Supplier management on technical aspects to fulfill design requirements

Participation and responsibility in the project for FMEA & DFMA,

Participate in design reviews as required - from concept phase through to release - contribute in identifying risks and outlining potential methods of implementation

Develop validation plan, coordinate with validation team and analyze the results and reports

Qualifications

BE ( Mechnical /Automotive)

Additional Information

Expertise knowledge in design and development of Transmission (EAxle) components and products

Experience in checking manufacturing feasibilities & propose cost optimized & best solutions

Ability to perform detail design and prepare Manufacturing drawings

Good understanding of material properties specifically, Steel, Aluminum alloys and Plastics, castings

Knowledge of design calculations, DRBFM, FMEA , Joining technologies (Fastening, welding), NVH

Ability to define simulation requirements, boundary conditions and analyze the simulation results

Ability to handle supplier coordination, fitment and assembly of components at system/vehicle level.

Good hands on experience in CAD tool - TcE+Nx

Experience in GD&T, tolerance stack up analysis (2D& 3D)

Experience in product development process

Knowledge on Manufacturing & Assembly processes

-Pre-analyzing of incoming customer bugs and co-ordination to the problem solving team

-Problem resolution manager for software bugs and problems

-Monitoring and managing of the problems solving for releases
