Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Design Engineer Trainee

with a background in

Mechanical Engineering

. The ideal candidate should be proficient in

SolidWorks

and

AutoCAD

, with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to product design, drafting, and development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation of 2D and 3D designs using

SolidWorks

and

AutoCAD

. Support the engineering team in developing detailed mechanical drawings and technical documentation. Work on design modifications and improvements under the guidance of senior engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production and quality departments. Conduct basic calculations and tolerance analysis to ensure design feasibility. Maintain and organize design files and drawing records. Adhere to industry and company design standards and procedures. Participate in training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in

SolidWorks

and

AutoCAD

. Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering concepts. Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Basic understanding of FEA and simulation tools. Exposure to product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
