Key Responsibilities
Design and develop
die casting dies, molds, and components
Prepare
2D & 3D CAD models and detailed drawings
Analyze part drawings for
manufacturability and cost optimization
Coordinate with
production, tool room, and quality teams
Modify and improve existing designs based on trial results and feedback
Support
tool trials, process validation, and troubleshooting
Ensure designs comply with
customer specifications and industry standards
Maintain design documentation and revision control
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical Engineering
2-3 years of experience in
Die Casting design
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, SolidWorks / NX / CATIA
Strong knowledge of
die casting processes, materials, and tooling
Ability to read and interpret
customer drawings and GD&T
Good understanding of
DFMEA, PFMEA, and manufacturing feasibility
Preferred Skills
Experience in
Aluminum / Zinc die casting
Knowledge of
tool design, gating systems, runners, and cooling layouts
Exposure to
APQP, PPAP, and quality systems
Problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills
