Job Summary

The Jigs & Fixtures Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving jigs, fixtures, gauges, and tooling solutions to support production, machining, welding, and assembly operations. The role requires strong expertise in CAD design, manufacturing processes, and problem-solving to ensure high precision, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop

jigs, fixtures, gauges, and tooling

for machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly processes. Create

3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation

using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.). Conduct feasibility studies to understand

manufacturing requirements, tolerances, and functional needs

. Collaborate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to gather requirements and ensure design compatibility. Conduct

tolerance stack-up analysis

and ensure designs meet GD&T standards. Maintain documentation, design records, and revision control.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Strong knowledge of

jig & fixture design

, machining processes, and manufacturing methods. Proficiency in

CAD tools

such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX, or Creo. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skill

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
