Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Create and modify sheet metal designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or Inventor Develop 2D drawings and 3D models as per design requirements Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and BOM Design components like enclosures, cabinets, brackets, panels, and frames Coordinate with production and vendor teams for fabrication feasibility Support prototype development and design validation Maintain and update design documentation and files Follow engineering standards and quality procedures Assist in cost reduction and process improvement activities

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of sheet metal design principles (bend allowance, K-factor, unfolding, etc.) Knowledge of fabrication processes (laser cutting, bending, welding, punching) Hands-on experience with CAD software Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Good problem-solving and communication skills Willingness to learn and adapt
