We're Hiring: Design Engineer - Food Processing Equipment (Coimbatore)

V Square Engineering is looking for a talented and experienced Design Engineer to lead our machinery design team. If you've worked on food processing equipment, conveyors, or fabrication of SS equipment -- this role is for you!

What You'll Do

Lead the design team in developing innovative food processing machinery. Design equipment such as conveyors, washers, dryers, blanchers, elevators, pulpers, etc. Review & approve 3D models, 2D drawings, layouts, and BOMs. Ensure all designs meet ISO/ASME standards and food-safety requirements. Coordinate with production and purchase teams for manufacturability and cost optimization. Conduct feasibility checks, stress/load analysis, and DFM reviews. Drive R&D activities to introduce new products and design improvements. Provide technical support during fabrication & assembly.

What We're Looking For

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering 5+ years experience in designing food processing or material handling machinery Strong skills in AutoCAD & SolidWorks Knowledge of DFM, tolerances, fabrication, sheet metal, and SS equipment Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
