As a Project Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the manufacturing of equipment and systems, ensuring that they meet industry standards, customer requirements, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical equipment, systems, and components based on customer specifications and project requirements.
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and other engineering departments to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
Conduct feasibility studies, stress analysis, and other design validation activities to ensure the functionality and safety of designs.
Modify and revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders, including clients, senior engineers, and quality control teams.
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and manuals.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality standards, and relevant industry regulations throughout the design process.
Participate in the selection and sourcing of materials and components for projects.
Provide technical support to the production and assembly teams, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during manufacturing.
Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to existing designs for increased efficiency and cost reduction.
Assist with project budgeting and resource allocation to ensure the design process stays within budget and timeline.

Educational Qualification:
Diploma
in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the Kitchen equipments or Hospital equipments manufacturing industry.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
for creating 2D and 3D models and drawings.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols related to mechanical equipment.
Familiarity with engineering tools and software (such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) is a plus.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to interpret and create technical documentation and drawings.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of mechanical systems like HVAC, piping, and structural components.
Basic understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) would be a plus.
Experience with ERP systems or project management tools.
Ability to lead small teams or work independently on smaller projects.
