Job Description

Design and develop pump models, components, and assemblies based on performance and application requirements. Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and BOMs using CAD/CAE software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.). Perform engineering calculations (hydraulic, mechanical, structural, and thermal) to ensure pump efficiency, reliability, and safety. Select appropriate materials and components considering strength, corrosion resistance, and cost. Work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams for prototype development and design validation. Conduct design modifications to address customer feedback, field performance issues, or cost reduction initiatives. Ensure compliance with relevant international standards (ISO, ANSI, API, BIS, etc.) in pump design and testing. Support testing and validation of pumps, analyze test data, and make necessary design improvements. Maintain design documentation, revision control, and ensure proper record keeping. Collaborate with suppliers for critical component development and feasibility checks. Assist sales and application teams with technical support, customization requests, and customer presentations.
