Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

3D Modeling & Design:

Develop detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using SolidWorks for mechanical products and components. Ensure all designs meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturability requirements .

Collaborative Engineering:

Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to refine designs, conduct feasibility studies, and optimize product performance.

Technical Documentation:

Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including 2D drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), assembly instructions, and design specifications for manufacturing and quality assurance teams.

Prototyping & Testing:

Assist in the creation of prototypes and perform testing to validate design concepts. Identify and address any design issues during the prototype phase. ? Product Lifecycle Management (PLM): Manage design revisions and ensure proper version control using PLM software, ensuring that all design changes are accurately documented and tracked.

Design Reviews:

Participate in design reviews, providing input on new concepts and suggesting improvements to enhance product quality, cost, and manufacturability.

Continuous Improvement:

Contribute to continuous improvement eAorts in design and manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve product performance.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a design engineering role with a strong focus on 3D modeling and CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.

Proficiency:

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assemblies, and simulations (Motion, FEA, etc.). SolidWorks Certification (CSWA or CSWP) is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes (CNC machining, injection molding, etc.), and product lifecycle management (PLM).

Problem-Solving Abilities:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot design issues and provide eAective solutions.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document design work clearly and communicate eAectively with cross-functional teams.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to ensure accuracy and precision in design drawings and technical documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
