Job Purpose

To support the Civil/Structural Engineering activities including preparation of engineering drawings, basic design calculations, and coordination with project teams, under guidance from senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparation of Civil and Structural drawings using AutoCAD. Support structural design and analysis work using STAAD.Pro. Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs and material estimation for projects. Draft and update engineering documents, specifications, and technical reports. Coordinate with Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, and other disciplines for integrated project design. Review design inputs and ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation. Provide support to site team for clarifications related to drawings and specifications, as required. Comply with company quality standards, design guidelines, and applicable codes/standards (such as IS standards).

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong understanding of Civil Engineering fundamentals and Structural mechanics. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

for civil and structural drawings (Mandatory). Working knowledge of

STAAD.Pro

for structural analysis and design (Mandatory). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Additional Requirements

Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work in a team environment. Ability to handle tasks under supervision and follow engineering instructions and procedures.
