Designation- Design Engineer (Mechanical)

Experience - 5-6 years

Working Days- Mon to Sat ( Sunday Off)

Timing- 9.30 to 6.30

Location- Dombivli

Salary- upto45K

Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in 3D modeling & 2D drafting to join our Design/R&D Team. The role is interesting for a person willing to understand, learn & develop new products from scratch from product modeling perspective. The products are categorized under special purpose machines so learning & working on the same will definitely add value for a young professional looking technical growth & raise the bar of learning curve.

o3D modeling/2D drafting of new products (EM brakes, clutches), including mechanical components and assemblies

oApply GD&T principles to optimize product performance and ensure proper fit and functions Technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and product catalogues, to support product development

oWork with PLM (product lifecycle management) software to manage product data and ensure data integrity

oManage engineering change requests (ECRs) to ensure timely and accurate implementation of design changes.

SolidWorks / Solid Edge 3D modeling, 2D drafting:

To be able to handle work order/RFQ work independently

MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering 1-2 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of GD&T principles and their application in design Familiarity with ECN/ECR/ECO processes and any PLM software

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Knowledge of manufacturing processes would definitely have additional advantage Familiarity with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) principles.
