Role Overview

The D

ESIGNER - Structural / PEB

is responsible for preparing accurate drawings, BOMs, and connection details for steel structures.
The role demands high attention to detail, coordination with design engineers, and strong visualization of 3D structural behavior.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

General Arrangement (GA)

,

Shop

, and

Erection Drawings

using AutoCAD / Tekla. Create and update

Bill of Materials (BOM)

and connection detail drawings. Coordinate with Design Engineers to incorporate technical changes and client requirements. Check dimensional accuracy and revision control before releasing drawings. Ensure all drawings follow company SOPs, design codes, and QAP standards. Support the Production and Site teams with drawing clarifications when required. Maintain drawing archives and issue logs in ERP / Google Drive.

Skills & Capabilities

Proficiency in

AutoCAD/TEKLA

(mandatory); knowledge of

Tekla Structures / SolidWorks / MBS

is an advantage. Strong understanding of

steel detailing, bolted/welded connections, and PEB components

. High accuracy, visualization, and drafting discipline. Basic knowledge of load direction, grid alignment, and member orientation. Organized and able to handle multiple project drawings simultaneously.

Capacity

Deliver

5 - 10 drawing sets per day

with accuracy ? 99 %. Coordinate across 3 - 4 ongoing projects while maintaining revision control.

Eligibility

Diploma / BE

in

Civil or Mechanical

4 - 6 years

of experience in

PEB / Structural Steel / Industrial Building drafting

. Exposure to fabrication drawings, anchor bolt layouts, and connection detailing preferred.
