Design Engineer Staad Pro
Job Description
: We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer with expertise in the offshore, oil & gas industries . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in civil or mechanical engineering , along with hands-on experience in SolidWorks. The ability to perform hand calculations and finite element (FE) analysis is essential. Knowledge of STAAD Pro software is preferable . This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of projects in the offshore and oil & gas sectors. Responsibilities: Collaborate with a team of engineers and designers to develop innovative designs for offshore and oil & gas projects. Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings. Perform hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) to verify the structural integrity and stability of designs. Prepare lift plans and assist in the coordination of lifting operations for offshore installations. Apply engineering principles and industry codes (API, DNV, Eurocodes, NORSOK, etc) and standards to ensure compliance and safety in designs. Conduct design reviews to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to project specifications. Assist in the preparation of technical reports, project documentation, and engineering calculations. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical or civil Engineering. 2-7 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in the offshore and oil & gas industries.
