Job Responsibilities:
Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using
Solid Edge
software.
Interpret and understand technical drawings, client specifications, and manufacturing standards.
Work on design projects involving sheet metal, part modeling, assemblies, and BOM generation.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.
Maintain proper version control and documentation of design files.
Assist in prototyping, testing, and making revisions based on feedback.
Apply GD&T and ensure dimensioning and tolerancing are as per standards.
Participate in design review meetings and suggest improvements.
Key Skills Required:
Proficiency in
Solid Edge
CAD software.
Knowledge of
mechanical design concepts
, manufacturing processes, and materials.
Experience in
2D drafting, 3D modeling, and assembly design
.
Understanding of
sheet metal design
and
weldments
is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret
engineering drawings and specifications
.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
