Design sheet metal parts and assemblies using CAD software
Create detailed 2D drawings with GD&T, tolerances, and BOMs
Develop flat patterns considering bend allowances, K-factors, and reliefs
Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly
Coordinate with production, quality, and sourcing teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues
Modify designs based on prototyping, testing, and customer feedback
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and customer specifications
Support new product development and engineering change management
Prepare and maintain technical documentation
