Job Description

Design and Development

: Create detailed designs and drawings for sheet metal components and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Material Selection

: Choose appropriate materials based on design requirements, considering factors such as strength, weight, and corrosion resistance.

Prototyping and Testing

: Develop prototypes and conduct tests to validate design concepts and ensure they meet performance and quality standards.

Collaboration

: Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective. Provide technical support during the production process.

Quality Control

: Perform quality checks on designs and prototypes, making necessary adjustments to meet specifications and standards.

Documentation

: Maintain detailed records of design processes, modifications, and test results. Prepare technical reports and documentation for reference and future projects.
