Job title: Design Engineer

Experience required: 3 years - 7 years

Qualification required: B.E. / B. Tech - Mechanical or Diploma in Mech/ Production

Job Location: Thane

Software skills: Inventor, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD

Job Responsibilities:

Create concepts and detail engineering. Understand the project requirements and work within team OR solo. Create design considering manufacturability, cost, performance and durability. Participate / Conduct design review to improve product performance and resolve technical issues.

Desired Skill Set:

Good in engineering fundamentals Strong understanding of sheet metal materials, design principles. Choose appropriate materials for designs, considering factors like strength, weight, cost, and manufacturability. Knowledge of GD&T, Tolerances, Limits / Fits. Work closely with team to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document design processes. Knowledge of manufacturing / production / assembly processes. Knowledge of tooling, jigs and fixture would be advantage. Hands on experience in various manufacturing processes would be a plus.
