You would also be responsible for detailed drainage design and preparing detailed drawings for rail projects. To succeed in this role, you must have knowledge and thorough understanding of principles of drainage for rail projects and must have in depth knowledge of principles of stormwater management. You will join our Water department As our new Design Engineer - Water you will be part of Water team. As a member of the Water team you will be responsible for carrying out the storm water management for rail drainage. Also, responsible for carrying out the checks of the drawings produced by CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: Design Engineer shall co-ordinate with Project Manager and Assistant Engineer/Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of design calculations and drawings. Design engineer shall co-ordinate with his/her counterparts across the globe while working on international projects. For this role, we believe your starting point is: We are looking for self-motivated team members who meet the following requirements: BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. ME/ M. Tech would be desirable, Should have more than 5 years of experience in drainage and stormwater management with more than 3 years of experience of rail drainage. Knowledge of design codes like Euro code/DMRB/AASHTO/any other international standards would be desirable, knowledge and understanding of principles of drainage designs for road, airport and rail environment, Should have hands on experience in using any of the drainage design software (Civil 3D, StormCAD, Sewergems, OpenRoads (Drainage & utilities). should have knowledge of tools like AutoCAD/Micro Station and preparing drawings in accordance with internationally recognized standard formats, in addition to technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills Should be a team player and should coordinate within the team for timely delivery of project Professional English language skills (written and verbal).] Welcome to our Water division At Ramboll, a global team of specialised water consultants support the development of sustainable societies.
