Responsible for setting of injection moulding machine process, mould & processing of different plastic material - as per defined parameter
Design Moulds:
Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs for Plastic injection Moulds using specialized CAD software.Mould Design & Development: Create and improve injection Mould designs for plastic products using CAD software like SolidWorks, Catia, or Pro-E.
Material Selection:
Specify appropriate plastic materials and Mould materials based on product requirements and performance.
Technical Analysis:
Analyse Mould designs to predict and prevent potential problems like warping, sinking, or any other defects.
Technical Knowledge:
A strong understanding of plastic injection moulding processes, materials, and design principles.
Design Optimization:
Analyse existing Moulds, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Collaboration :
Work with engineers, manufacturers, customers, and internal departments to gather requirements, provide technical support, and address design-related issues.
Prototyping & Testing:
Oversee or participate in the creation of prototypes and conduct tests to validate the Mould's functionality and output.
Problem-Solving:
Address technical challenges that arise during the design, prototyping, or manufacturing phases.
Simulation & Analysis:
Perform Mould-filling simulations, analyse manufacturing data, and conduct analyses (e.g., Mould flow, stress analysis) to predict performance and optimize the molding process.
Technical Documentation:
Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and schematics (e.g., water diagrams, hot runner wiring) for the manufacturing of Mold components.
Quality & Manufacturing Support:
Ensure Moulds are designed for manufacturability, quality output, and efficient production, and provide technical expertise to resolve production and quality problems.

Qualification: & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics, or Manufacturing Engineering. Typically requires an associate's or diploma in plastics engineering technology, tool and die making, or mechanical engineering.
5 to 10
years of experience in Plastic injection moulding, tool setting, and process optimization.
Software Proficiency:
Expertise in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, such as Pro-E, Unigraphics Drawing, Solid works, or Auto CAD, is essential.
Technical Knowledge:
A strong understanding of plastic injection moulding processes, mould principles, and design for manufacturability.
Soft Skills:
Good oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, are necessary for successful project execution.
