Job Title: Design Engineer - Packaging / SPM / Conveyor Systems

Location: Pune

Working Hours:

9 Hours (Full-Time)

Compensation:

20-30% Hike on Current CTC

Key Responsibilities

Design and development of

packaging machines, conveyors, and SPMs

Create detailed 3D and 2D designs using

SolidWorks

and

AutoCAD

Perform

design calculations

and select suitable

gearboxes, motors, cylinders, valves

, and other mechanical components

Develop and maintain

hydraulic and pneumatic circuits

for automation systems

Conduct

failure analysis

and implement design improvements to resolve product issues

Maintain and update

design standards, BOMs, and master project documents

Provide

technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and service activities

Prepare

sequential operational sheets

and ensure accuracy of design documentation

Collaborate with the

purchasing and production teams

for tooling, cost control, and product sourcing

Continuously improve

design performance, safety, and efficiency

of products

Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve design-related issues

Check and validate all drawings for

accuracy, GD&T, and manufacturability

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

3 to 6 years in mechanical design (SPM, packaging, conveyor systems)

Software Proficiency:

SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Project)

Key Skills

Proficiency in

SolidWorks

,

AutoCAD

, and

GD&T

Strong knowledge of

mechanical design principles

, material selection, and machine assembly

Hands-on experience in

pneumatics, hydraulics, and motion system design

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
