About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated

Design Engineer with strong proficiency in Siemens NX CAD

to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate will work on 3D modeling, detailed design, drafting, and preparation of engineering documentation for manufacturing and validation. This role involves close interaction with cross-functional teams including CAE, and Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop

3D CAD models and assembly layouts

using

Siemens NX

in line with project requirements and design standards. Generate

2D engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T

, and BOMs for manufacturing. Perform

design modifications, revisions, and change order management

. Work with

DFM/DFA principles

to ensure manufacturable and cost-effective designs. Conduct

tolerance stack-up analysis

and ensure design robustness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CAE analysis, prototype builds, and testing. Review and ensure design compliance with

industry standards, engineering specifications, and safety requirements

. Support documentation and lifecycle management through

PLM systems

(Teamcenter preferred). Participate in technical design reviews and prepare engineering reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Aerospace / Production Engineering.

1 - 2 years hands-on experience

in

Siemens NX CAD (modeling, assemblies, drafting).

Strong understanding of

GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and manufacturing processes

. Experience in

Sheet metal / Plastics / Machined components / Weldments

(based on role). Knowledge of Material selection, Product lifecycle, and revision control. Good understanding of

engineering calculations and design fundamentals

. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

Exposure to

Teamcenter PLM

. Familiarity with CAE fundamentals and simulation interpretation. Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, ASME, DIN, or BIS. Experience in New Product Development (NPD) or R&D environments. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining, injection molding, casting, welding, etc.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
