JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Preparation of Single line diagrams, Equipment sizing (like CT/PT, NGT, DG sets, Transformers etc), Load flow and short circuit calculations/studies for Hydro Power Projects.
• Basic and detail Engineering Hydro Power Projects consisting for Low and Medium voltage Switchgear, DC System, Low and medium voltage cables, Power and distribution Transformers (Oil / Dry type), Generator Circuit Breaker, EHV Switchyard equipment, Gas Insulated Switchgear, EHV XLPE Cables, Overhead Transmission lines, Grounding system, Illumination, etc, meeting overall technical requirements of the project.
• Interface with cross functions like procurement /quality control / erection & commissioning to ensure completeness of engineering within given time and accelerate the engineering progress.
• Independently handle design of system/ sub-system/ equipment etc. of assigned Hydro Power Project packages meeting project requirement.
• Monitor and ensure on time delivery (OTD) w.r.t. design schedules.
• Ensure design and engineering of packages meets guaranteed & contractual requirement, adherence to relevant standards, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Continuous improvement of processes and working on optimizing the system without compromising on the contractual and project requirements.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• BE Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience
