Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer to develop, design, and improve products and systems according to technical requirements and customer needs. The Design Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform concepts into functional, manufacturable designs while ensuring quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and design components, products, or systems using CAD/CAE tools Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation Conduct design calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate performance Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility Review and improve existing designs to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations Participate in design reviews and implement corrective actions Manage design changes and maintain version control of drawings and documents

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Industrial / related field) Proven experience as a Design Engineer or similar role Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Fusion 360) Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Good problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering (optional) Experience with FEA, CFD, or simulation tools Knowledge of GD&T, ISO, ASME, or industry-specific standards Experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) systems Exposure to prototyping, testing, or production environments

Job Summary
